This Sunday the 8th is the big day for Jamie and me. We are running in the half marathon. If any of you want to cheer us on at some point(s) along the course I'll give you a basic summary and a link to the course.

We start on Reitz hill (8am) and work our way to Barker. We'll go north on Barker to Franklin to Harmony Way. Then we'll run along the south side of Golfmoor Park (around 8:20am) and east along Maryland and farther east along some other street, not sure what it is by their map. Then north along Fulton to Ulhorn and through Garvin Park (8:50am) on the Pigeon Greenway and by Bosse Field (9am). Then we go south on Main Street to Vine, another street to 3rd Street (9:20am). I get confused about the downtown parts but we work our way over to Bayard Park (9:35am) and Kentucky and Washington to Akin Park (9:45am), back to Washington to Riverside Dr. all the way to back to downtown. The map looks like we finish near Aztar.

The race starts at 8am. I think Jamie will finish around 9:45. I'll finish around 10am. I'm hoping to break 2 hours but there's a good chance it will be about 10 minutes past the 2 hour mark. I usually run about 6 mph.
