I painted the Collins' kitchen this week. I normally enjoy painting, and I did this time too, but, man, that neighborhood is scary. During the day it's not so bad, except for the noises upstairs. There's some animal living up there rent free. I decided to work there Tuesday evening while Jason was at church. He came by with supper and then left. I thought I'd get a lot done but I was outta there shortly after Jason left. I'll admit it. I was scared. I just wanted to get the kids in the car and back home. What does all this say about me? Should I be scared just because it's a poor neighborhood? I don't know.

And what's up with the cold?

I need another haircut already. It's been one month since I got it cut and I need an inch off. I don't mind so much because I like when they wash my hair. Appointment tonight.
