I noticed I haven't posted anything funny, or even interesting, in awhile. So it goes...
I did finally install a ceiling fan in Luke's room. Of course, Jason helped me. (My dad was not involved at all!) But the shocker is it worked right the first time. That never happens. Those $30 fans just don't put off enough light, yet I continue to buy them. Two of my pregnant friends have babies now. One more is due before me and 4 after me. There must be something in the water around here. Anybody got a leaf blower they would like to share with a tired, pregnant woman? Posted by: Laura @ 10/21/2003 08:31:00 AM

Well, 2 more visits to the doctor since last mention of being pregnant. I'm not measuring behind anymore. I assume that's good. And we think his head is down. That's also good.
I'm not sure what's normal for a second baby as far as gifts go. Of course, I still have a lot of stuff from Abby but I don't have boy stuff. I went ahead and registered at Target and Toys r Us but I'm not sure how presumptuous that is. I don't want to sound greedy or expectant of presents but I also know there are those out there that want to buy us stuff we need so I guess I should at least tell them what it is we need. It still feels awkward and I haven't even told people that I'm registered. I over-think things. Posted by: Laura @ 10/14/2003 11:41:00 AM

Well, surprisingly, Abby loved the rides. She better, they were expensive. I'm done with the festival. I must be getting old.

I know I should update my blog, but I can't think of anything interesting to share. I've been pretty bored. The Fall Festival is on. Jenny and I had a deep-fried ham and cheese sandwich. They deep-fry everything now. It actually wasn't too bad, very cheesy. We have to go back today so the kids can ride some rides. Abby acts like she's so brave and ready for the rides, but I have a feeling she'll chicken out when she sees I'm not going to ride with her. I just want more cidar. I was surprised how much I liked that. That is all.
